Step 1 The Information

 

1. Read the resource  on the Constitutional Convention and take notes.  You will use these notes to make 2 pages

 

                               First Page

                          

2. Using a Google Doc create a page teaching younger students about the Constitutional Convention.

 

This page must include all of the following:

- At least one picture

-Where and when the Convention occurred

-What they were doing at the Convention and why

- How many branches of government they created

-The names of each of the three branches

-Why you think they created three branches

 

 

3. You must use an additional resource to find and include on your page:

- Who was there

-A quotation about the Convention

-Why the Convention was important

 

     

 

Step 2 Testing the Information

                        

This is your opportunity to quiz the students on what they have learned.

 

1. Create a 2nd page on the same Google Doc.  Put a title on the second page

 

2. Use any of the following methods to quiz the students on at least 3 facts from your  1st page on the Constitutional  Convention and 2 facts about the branches of government.

 

You can use any of these methods to quiz the students. There are resources on the side to help you:

 

-Question and Answer

-Fill in the blank

-Word Search

-Crossword Puzzle

-Draw a picture

 

3. Ask a fellow classmate to test out your pages.

 

4. Each branch of government has their own branch of government.  Look at some fo the government buildings around the world using the pictures on your right.

 

5. Then create a Tinkercad account, be an architect, and  create your own government building.
