Lets Plan the Overnight!!!!!

Introduction:
You are going to research where we could go on our overnight. Use the computer and iPads to research places. There are several restrictions on the overnight:
-it must be within three hours
-it must have at least one educational component
-it must be fun
Step 1A: Organizer
​We are going to have an overnight in May, however, we need to start planning it. You are going to help us to come up with some ideas for our overnight. Before writing you have to organize your thoughts. Complete the organizer by :
​- writing the thesis (Where you want to go)
-the main ideas of each of your body paragraphs ( Why we should go there)
- the supporting details for each of your body paragraph (the details that will support the main idea of your body paragraph
Step 1 Intro Paragraph
​Write an introductory paragraph this paragraph should include:
​- a catchy sentence to interest the reader
-several sentences to introduce the place you will be writing about
- a sentence for each main idea of your body paragraphs (3 total)
-a sentence explaining your thesis
Step 2: 1st Body Paragraph
Write your first body paragraph. This paragraph should be this place is educational (main idea) and why this is a (supporting ideas). The paragraph should include:
- a topic sentence that introduces the main idea
-at least 3 supporting details that support your main idea
-a concluding sentence that reexplains your main idea
Step 3: 2nd Body Paragraph
Write your second body paragraph. This paragraph should be this place is fun (main idea) and why (supporting ideas). The paragraph should include:
- a topic sentence that introduces the main idea
-at least 3 supporting details that support your main idea
-a concluding sentence that reexplains your main idea

Step 4 : 3rd Body Paragraph
Write your third body paragraph. This paragraph should be that the students will love it (main idea) and why (supporting ideas). The paragraph should include:
- a topic sentence that introduces the main idea
-at least 3 supporting details that support your main idea
-a concluding sentence that reexplains your main idea
Step 5: Concluding Paragraph
Write your concluding paragraph. This paragraph should wrap about your essay. The paragraph should include:
- the main ideas from your body paragraphs
-at least 3 supporting details that support your main idea
- your thesis
-a catchy sentence that ends your essay
