Steps of Our Biographies

 

1. As a class decide what should and should not be in a biography.  Click here for our class suggestions.

 

2. Choose a person in the school.

 

3. Create at least 10 questions that you want to ask that person.

 

4. Check those questions by the teacher.

 

5. Ask that person those questions and record these answers. As you ask those questions videotape your interview.

 

6. Use these answers to create a paragraph about the person.  Make sure that you have a topic sentence, main ida, supporting details, and a concluding sentence.  You can use this organizer if you want..

 

7. Edit the video so that you have a short segment about the person that you think captures the person.
