Read or listen to the story found here.

 

On a Google doc explain these parts of the story

 

- Who are the characters

 

- Where is the setting

 

-What are the main events of the plot

 

-What words you did not understand in the story and what those words mean

 

-How the rhinocerous got its skin

 

 

Step 2: Rhino: The movie

 

1. Ask Mr. Fracchia for a copy of the Rhino movie.  

 

2. Watch the movie.

 

3. On your Google Doc answer the following questions:

 

- When you saw the movie was anything different than the way you had visualized the story?

 

- DId watching the movie help you to understand the story?

 

-How woud you have changed the movie if you were making the movie?

Step 3 In Defense of the Rhino

 

1. LIsten to the Rhino on the left speak and give his side of the story.

 

2. After you listen to the Rhino, click on   the website below:

3. Use the information on the website to write 2 paragraphs or create a video or make a drawing that explains: 

 

- Why Rhinos are angry at humans

- Where this is occuring

-Why is this occurring

-At 3 facts about the situation that includes numbers or graphs

-How students could help the Rhinos
