Writing to Describe Actions
Here is a place to practice writing descriptions using strong verbs and nouns.
Step 1. Writing a Description
1.Choose an image from the Interent of someone doing an action.
2. Put the image on a Google Doc titled action.
2. Write a paragraph describing the actions that occurred in the picture.
3. Make sure that your paragraph includes:
-a topic sentence
- at least 4 supportive/descriptive sentences
- a concluding sentence
- a picture
- strong verbs

2. Write a paragraph describing the actions that occurred in the video.
3. Make sure that your paragraph includes:

Step 3. Your own actions
1. Create a video of you and at least one other person doing an action. You can use any props and actions that you want that are appropriate.
2. Write a paragraph describing the actions that occurred in the video.
