Researching the topic:

Investigating a topic and becoming an expert in that area

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

             Introduction: Setting it up
 

1.In your Google Folder create a  Google Doc titled Researching the topic

 

2. Choose a topic that you want to research (how something is made, a scientific topic, a historical topic) , check the topic by  the teacher, and write the topic at the top of your Google Doc.

 

3. 

 

4. On your Google Doc, create a chart that has four row and two columns.

 

5. Title the first column source and the second column information.

             Step 1: First Research

1. Find a source for information on the topic that you are interested.  (This can be a video, text, or other source of information)

 

2. Write down the name of the source in the source column of your Google Doc.

 

3. Watch, listen to,  or read your source.

 

4. In the information  column, take notes on what you learned from your source .
