Project 1: Who Am I wearing?
This project is going to look at where the clothing that you wear comes from and who makes it. You can either do this on paper or electronically
Task: Find out where your clothing comes from, who makes it, and how it is made
Purpose : To determine if our clothes are made in a factory with positive or negative conditions.
Geography
On Paper
Step I. Where are we
1. Click onto blankmapsite and print the map
2. Use the internet or books to help you in your research. Label each of the 7 continents and two countries in each continent.
Step II. Where am I wearing
3. Take a picture of each article of clothing that you are wearing. Make sure to photograph 4 different pieces of clothing or accessory. Also make sure they are outwear and not underwear. Lets keeps this G rated!!!.
4. Print out the pictures of your clothing and write on the back on each picture; who makes the clothing (the brand) and where they are made.
Step III. What's in a name
5. On your map write down the article of clothing next to the country where it was made.
6. Log onto this brand website and look up one of the brands that you are researching. Write down what the website says about the factory conditions of the brand that makes your clothing.
Step IV. Two sides to every story
7. Make a list of concerns that you have about your brand from what you have learned from the website.
8. Find a customer service number for the brand of clothing. Write a letter to the company and ask them about your concerns.

2. On your thinglink acount upload a blank map of the world.
3. On your map tag the name of each of the continents and two countries in each continent.
Step II. Where am I wearing

4. Put the pictures of your clothing onto your map of the world as a tag on the country where they were made. In the tag write down who makes the clothing (the brand) and where they are made.
