European Resources:
How did Europe obtain the reource that it needed?
We are going to build an Exploration Game that we can play in class. Complete the steps and we can play the game! Watch this video to get in the mood: video.
Step 1: The World
1.On the Google Doc Age of Exploration choose one if the listed European countries and write your name under the country
2. In your Social Studies Google Folder create a Google Doc titled with the name of your country and share it with your teachers.
3. On your Google Doc write the name of your country and put a map that shows where in Europe your country is.
4. On the bottom of your map, explain when this is taking place.

Step 2: The Resources
1. Read or watch the resources on the top right
2. On your Google Doc write down each resources that the Europeans were looking for and a picture of that resource.
3. Under each picture of the resource include why the Europeans were looking for that resource.
Step 3: Where did they go?
1. Read or watch the resources on the right to find out where your country made colonies to obtain the resources they needed
2 On your Google Doc write down the colonies that your country started and a map showing theses colonies.
3. On the Google Doc Age of Exploration write down the colonies that your country started

Step 4: How did they get what they want?
1. Read or watch the resources on the top right to find out how they got what they wanted
2. On you Google Doc write down at least three methods in which your country got what it wanted from the colonies.
3. On the Google Doc Age of Exploration write down at least three methods in which your country got what it wanted from the colonies.
4. Print out your Google Doc, cut out each resource, colony, and method and paste each one on an index card.
5. On your Google Doc explan what you think about the methods your country used to obtain the resources it needed.
